The Brick Community Stadium is delighted to announce the opening of the Wigan Lounge, a state-of-the-art corporate hospitality space designed and created by Greenmount Projects. As the venue that proudly hosts both Wigan Warriors and Wigan Athletic, we are thrilled to offer this new dual-branded corporate space, enhancing the hospitality experience for our guests.
Greenmount Projects, the principal kit sponsor for the Warriors and back-of-shirt sponsor for the Latics, proposed this refurbishment to the Warriors’ CEO. Their vision was to transform the existing Sky TV Lounge into a luxurious and functional space where guests could enjoy the exceptional hospitality provided by both teams alongside their venue partner, Sodexo Live!.
Greenmount’s creative director, Molly, led the design process, aiming to deliver a high-class dining and hospitality experience. The design features elegant timber slatted finishes, complemented by flooring and decorations in muted color palettes. Bespoke lighting, integrated into a timber raft with greenery and color-changing LEDs, creates a dynamic ambiance that adapts to different phases of game entertaining.
The 3D visuals from Greenmount’s in-house design team showcased a range of high-end amenities, including a versatile meeting table for business and sports events, premium materials, detailed lighting features, luxurious furniture, advanced AV facilities, a convenient drinks station, and a practical worktop. Additionally, a booth area was included to provide a relaxed setting with an excellent view of the grounds.
As part of their commitment to Wigan Warriors, Wigan Athletic, and our community, Greenmount Projects generously covered the fit-out costs. Their dedication is evident in every aspect of the Wigan Lounge, from the high-quality materials to the thoughtful design elements. The board approved the 3D visuals, and the Wigan Lounge was brought to life in just four weeks, embodying Greenmount’s mission to create a lasting legacy.
